In 2013, a 18 years old young boy named Gazan Azka had an inspiration to transform a local traditional snack into a modern and well-known product in all over the world.
With such a big dream, he started the business with a small steps and used only Rp 1.050.000 (USD 73) as his initial capital. Zanana Chips was firstly produced in Gazan’s bedroom, and only sold to his closest friends and family.
The first time Zanana Chips launched, it’s only use a transparent plastic packaging without even a label on it. A year later, we introduced Zanana Chips with a new yellow packaging and aimed a wider market penetration.
There was a total of more than 1000 registered resellers across 70 cities in Indonesia selling Zanana Chips to their friends and families.
Changed the material of its packaging to aluminium foil to make the shelf life longer, And to fulfill market demands, we expanded our distribution channel through modern retail chain stores.
For the first, Zanana Chips entering China and Brunei Darussalam market. Zanana Chips has been distributed to more than 80 cities in more than 5 countries all over the world.
Zanana Chips is more than just a banana chips wrapped in the eye grabbing packaging, our mission is to make Zanana a brand that inspires the world to create a better workplace for employees and communities.
